A Brewery Visit to Cask & Larder Brewery in Winter Park

Cask & Larder is one of my favorite places to enjoy a fresh-brewed beer here in Central Florida. Bryan and I have been enjoying coming here since they opened in the fall of 2012.

While Cask & Larder is a restaurant, the big draw for me is their beers. You'll only find their beers on tap. They have eight to choose from with a nice variety in style for all to find one that suits them. I would say half of those beers are staples while the other taps are a new brew. Five Points IPA is my go to beer here, but I usually enjoy trying something new on the beer menu too.

While I love my beer, sometimes I like to mix it up a bit and order a cocktail from time to time. One of my favorites is a Bee's Knees. They offer a dozen craft cocktails and have some nice wine options as well.

One of my favorite times to stop by Cask & Larder is during Happy Hour. I especially like Sundays when it's a bit more mellow and I can enjoy a beer while listening to the music in the bar. Their Happy Hour takes place Tuesday - Sunday from 4 pm-6pm. They have $3 select beers and $6 select cocktails and wine. There are a few "snacks" on the Happy Hour Menu as well.

While I am drawn to Cask & Larder for the beer, the food is just as appealing. I've eaten in the dining room for brunch and dinner. I've dined in the brewery room too, but my favorite is just bellying up to the bar. I just love their bar. It's beautiful to look at and fun to watch the mixologists at work.

The food here is southern and the menu changes every month. I've enjoyed everything I've eaten here. Cask & Larder is one of my favorite places to dine in Central Florida. On our last visit, Bryan and I split a Blackened Catfish Sandwich and an order of Hush Puppies.

I'm all about the whole package, and for me Cask & Larder is one of those places that I just enjoy everything about it. The beer and food are delicious, the service is friendly and the atmosphere is my style. Southern food and drinks with a down to earth Southern style.
