A Brewery Visit to Coppertail Brewing Co. in Tampa Florida

Coppertail Brewing Co. in Tampa has become one of my favorite breweries in Florida. I've enjoyed many visits to this Tampa brewery and it's been great watching this brewery as it grows, not only with its beer but in popularity too.

I've been to my share of breweries and I've noticed that lately there's been a lot of beautiful tasting rooms opening up. Coppertail is located in a warehouse district on the outskirts of Ybor, but this is no bland warehouse. They have done a great job on transforming this building into one of the nicest breweries I've been too.

When I first walked in I was taken by surprise with the space and the design of the building. The large bar is the focal point, but the paintings and the dark wood are impressive as well. I like that the tasting room is dark and inviting. There is plenty of seating to be found. The bar is nice and they have outlets to charge up your phone. There are tables of all sizes scattered about and a comfy leather sofa to feel right at home.

There are about 20 taps to choose from. Most of them are their beers and a few from other Florida breweries. First visits to breweries are always done with a beer flight for me.

We stopped by late on Monday so there wasn't any action going on, but I think the big glass windows opening up the tasting room is pretty cool. One of my girlfriends has done the tour and highly recommends it.

Coppertail was in my cards the whole week. After our great visit to the tasting room early on in the week, we stopped by Redlight Redlight on Thursday where we were able to welcome Coppertail to Orlando. The brewery has started distributing their beers at many places around town. There was a great turnout for the event. I got to chat with the owner Kent and enjoyed listening to him talk about the brewery.

Coppertail Brewing Co. is what makes going to breweries fun. They serve up some great Florida beer and the atmosphere is cool. It's a brewery that has a tasting room that is great for groups. I've seen people of all ages hanging out at the brewery.
